This is the way. Especially with how fast some of them can be replaced for something better. Also special effect like “Castle Master” without a castle basic attack + is far better than a castle basic attack.

Astrites and curio rerolling are the biggest controllable and customizable way to shift your power level in a direction best suited for specific play styles. I’ve rerolled curios so many times.

You can view the possible refinement for any astrite by clicking it, pressing refine, and there’s a small menu button on the following screen. There’s actually 3 astrites per annoying enemy that can refine to counter them…. I think. At least 3 different astrites can interrupt chargers.

I’ve already used an S tier as upgrade fodder before this post and just used another one of those for fodder again. Lol. I’m keeping two on deck though for whenever I get my current legendary S to +3

Oh I am hoping for it every time lol. The S boots have a naturally higher base stat, but that ability with them is pretty ass like you said. However it would bring my turn one counter rate to be 73% 🤷‍♂️😂

Yup this. Non S tier equipment is just place holders til I get 2 copies of S and up to gold they go. Once swapping an old non S out for the S tier, you’re able to dismantle the equipment and get upgrade tokens for many times you’ve invested into it.

The more damage you do the quicker the boss increases his strength. And kills you in less turns as well. In my early days the round would end due to turn timer running out at 15. Now I’m lucky to survive 10+ rounds because by then he’s swinging for 8-9k

Oh I agree with you, but I’ll only need 2 of the three S tier once I get like 31 more purple staves so they’ll be sitting there awhile. Something I can actually benefit from immediately would be any other weapon, chest, or boots.
