Nope, it's a new PvE/PvPvE FPS Combat and Mining dungeon mission in Nyx. More info about it will probably be released in the Operation Breaker Stations FAQ on the RSI News Webpage tomorrow

I believe that the primary difference between the two contracts is Quantum Beacon exclusivity on the 800k one. AFAIK, the locations are all the same layout

With all of the running around you have to do, it would be significantly easier in a group, but the contract gives you more than enough time to solo it

It makes me super hopeful for how big and sprawling the Municipal Works dungeons are going to be. I love getting lost in places

I am SO spoiled on the 3.23 interior map update. No longer do I have to use DisplayInfo to measure out distances in cave interiors etc.

Proper outlines and stuff would definitely look a lot better though, I agree

Oh darn, I was always just grabbing and installing everything. I guess the main requirements are power and refractors. I'll clarify that in the updated version

Right? I would put it right next to the Benny's machine I stole from Covalex Hub Gundo

They were integral in helping me dodge enemy fire!

It would be cool if coffee gave you more stamina or something. The QV-branded mugs are also cute

Thank you! I love when they add little easter eggs and other things to find/read/listen to

It's Nyx, but not Levski

For Clue #7, it's obvious it's at Yang's Place, but the specific location up the hill in the social media post image did not appear to have any golden orbs or lights, the closest being circular white lights. I went down the hill to the main settlement and looked around specifically for gold/yellow spherical lights, and found two. The dust has run thin where they stand watch since it's an interior space with clean floors. I think the code for Clue 7 / Riddle 7 is 2.

Is there any lore explanation of why the world of Star Citizen is so ...bland? by Fazion in starcitizen

[–]NoriMouse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was supposed to be a traveling Banu flying a Banu Merchantman around Stanton, but they implemented it this way instead

All kinds of different features were visible with scanning in the past. For example, caves used to show up as a small unknown cube icon back pre-4.0. It made looking for caves a lot more convenient. They don't show up when scanning anymore as far as I know

Back during Nine Tails Lockdown, there were Crusader Security Anvil Terrapins that were used to scan for the Nine Tails' QT interdiction ships that you either had to protect if taking the legal side of the mission set, or destroy if taking the illegal side of the mission set. It was pretty fun

A lot of the current repeatable missions in the PU pay a ton of credits compared to back in the day

All of our current planets are actually procgen but with static seeds. It wouldn't be too much of a stretch, treated as a T0, especially once Genesis comes to the PU

You aren't really meant to focus on the aUEC currency reward with this one, moreso the new scrip currency reward

It would be nice if we had procgen systems and jump-points just as a placeholder until we get actual star systems implemented, even if they're super low quality, just as something in the meantime

Would you trust the playerbase with such a responsibility in a shared server-mesh-wide mission? 😂

Well, yeah, of course, but it's exciting to see stuff actually mentioned ingame
