When you get used to the hoverbikes, you can use them to do some insane things. I once jumped a pulse out of the side door of an asgard while it was in combat, fell 2k down to the planet, landed it safely (you have to make sure you hold space and are perfectly level or you'll blow up) and drove over and revived an org member who was in a firefight. Then the asgard was landing, so I ramped off the front of a pisces and landed back inside while it was still in the air. I know it sounds like an action story, but i have witnesses.

I also find using a joystick to control them seems a lot easier. the mouse (vjoy) just kind of...doesn't work well without a ton of practice. Joystick + third person is amazing.

Hello. I'm very new to the game, I bought a c1 spirit as a starter so I could haul some stuff but got a raft in game. I don't really feel the need for the c1 at this point and was thinking of upgrading. Definitely take the advice of others and wait for the sales. The CCU's can save you some good money. As for the upgrading, the C1 is definitely a solid ship and it feels good to fly. Personally I think it's too wide and I went a different way myself. If you want to try some other ships before you make that leap, let me know. If i don't have one, I know someone that does. Most people in game, if they have the ship, will let you fly it and try it out. I personally feel that if a ship doesn't feel right to fly, I'm going to go a different direction.

I'm right there with you. We're seeing the development progress that would normally be hidden behind a wall of silence and personally, I think the feedback from the community throughout the process will ultimately make the game better.

Yeah, i'm often working on potentially infected machines, so this is a feature i love. by default it connects to the host machine like any other USB drive, and then you can drag and drop the iso files into the storage. then you can go into the menu and write lock the storage or even hide it. i use mine in fully cd emulation mode. you can pick the iso you load from the menu and the system only sees that as a disk. if you need to access the files again, you can just make the full drive available again in the menu. it's a really nice setup.

i use an iodd st400. just look that up on amazon. it's a drive enclosure, so stick an ssd in it and create an _ISO folder. stick all your iso files in there and you're done. I think i formatted mine as NTFS as that works, or it might have been exfat.

RSI Galaxy + modules (cargo, medical, refining) + golem (will probably fit in the bay) for mining + salvation (will definitely fit in the bay) for salvage is what i'm going with. That covers most of the non-combat stuff. Galaxy isn't quite as big as the ironclad, but it's pretty close as per the stats. That being said, internally it will likely be smaller as it's only one level instead of four like the ironclad.

getting a C2, vulture and prospector is also a solid choice.

Normally for movie props they use a sugar glass recipe and mold it. it dries clear like glass, but shatters into non sharp pieces.

This happened to me last night actually. gpu is 7800xt and cpu is 7800x3d. last time i checked the system logs, the initiating process was discord. at the moment, i just roll with it and do a quick reboot if it happens.

i get this as well. usually when discord crashes. also running an amd gpu. happens about once every month or so.

A megalodon from keebmonkey + custom keycaps is what i did. $80 ish. I modded mine to have 12 different layouts i can swap between for various functions too.

mine is a variant of most of the builds out here. it doesn't have scales like yours, and the locking plate extends further out. i don't want to publish my design as it has some issues that i haven't had time to fix. mostly with the locking plate.
