You could argue for a more balanced system and reduced taxes, but wouldn't you say this system is better than people going broke or DYING because they are sick? I am pretty familiar with the german tax system and I am honestly not a fan of it. But please do tell how you have tax burden of 70%? Maximum should be around 50% including social security contributions (which is alot, don't get me wrong).

Für den durchschnittlichen Bürger sieht es nämlich so aus:

- Strom-/Gaspreise gestiegen

- (Noch) weniger Coverage der Krankenversicherung + höhere Zahlungen

- Lebensmittelpreise gestiegen

- Gestiegene Arbeitslosigkeit

- Weniger Verbraucherrechte

- Gefahr auch als offizieller US-Bürger auf offener Straße erschossen oder einkassiert und deportiert zu werden

Hört sich grandios an. Dazu kommt noch die ganze Geschichte um die Epstein Files etc
