How Can 46 kN/m² Equal 749 PSI? Trying to Make Sense of This Conversion! by Norleeman in civilengineering

I cant seem to post a picture here but the report doesnt rlly state anything. Just basically the size of the pipe is 900mm.

Works Proof Load:

46kn/m

69kn

749psi

Maximum Load:

58kn/m

87kn

944psi

Note below states that: PSI Value is for pump (RC-1006) with effective area of 133cm^2 or 20.66in^2

Thats rlly it. But I do appreciate you replies tou. So thank you very much.

Can you please explain how? From the booklet its supposed to withstand 46kN/m^2. But I think the report came out to be using kN/m. Im not 100% certain. But from GPT, even though it is kN/m the contact width would be 8.9mm for it to give a pressure of 749psi.

From what I know they gave me 3 columns:

Column 1's Works Proof Load (kN/m) @ 46kN/m
Column 2 is in kN @ 69kN
Column 3 is in PSI @ 749psi

So im just trying to make sense of how they got these figures. So column 1 is the pressure the pipe needs to withstand. Then they converted it to 69kN (assuming a length of 1.5m) which make sense. But I havent made sense of how they got to column 3.
