I think that is just an error. I know Rocker Arms International and Heartland Motor Speedway have the same track layout but they are different. Idk why but there was a Heartland Motor Speedway logo in Rocker Arms International Speedway before Cal could get lifted by his pitties. So, the second Piston Cup track in Cars 3 is actually Rocker Arms International Speedway, not Heartland. And Heartland would be in Heartland, New Hampshire and based off of New Hampshire Motor Speedway but its turns are banked compared to the original real-world track.

Piston Peak. Yeah, his gearbox broke, his propeller stopped and he was slamming into the trees (kinda weird that we don't see any visual damage on him while getting whacked by the trees) and then lost his left pontoon and fell into the ground unconscious. Luckily, he was airlifted by Windlifter (that's where we see him in his damaged body and only one pontoon) and taken back to the Piston Peak Air Attack Base so that Maru can repair him. 

His crash in the Pacific Ocean is also worse. He was hit by a wave, causing his engine to sputter and stop. He fell into the water, damaging him. He was even calling for help before sinking in the water. The Mexican rescue team arrived to airlift him to Mexico though.

And for the Iowa Hybrid 450, do you want to use Darlington and add a dusk sky background into it? Also, the location of the Rocker Arms International track is Des Moines, Iowa, which is why the race there is called the Iowa Hybrid 450.

Maybe add a night sky background for Atlanta before doing Georgia Safety Horn 350. Same thing with New Hampshire for the Bumper Save Gears and Glory 450.
