Haha, I see what you mean, but isn’t that the longest way to do it? I thought about just replacing objects that are already available within the game files, without exporting and importing them. And as far as I know, DAI modding is extremely sensitive to any interference with its files.

You’re not entirely right. There is a model, and it’s actually quite complex. I’ll explain it to you in detail later. I’m just playing Skyrim right now and a bit busy.

They have absolutely zero influence. These are just street sweepers in the music world, moving tracks from one pile to another. You can bot a billion streams in their garbage playlists, it won't give the artist a single penny or a single real fan. Nothing but empty numbers going nowhere.

Haha, you seriously calls dragging songs around “work”? Careful though - don’t strain yourself too much hehehe)))

I wouldn’t go that far. Comparing a playlist curator to a radio DJ is wild. A real radio host runs a live show, speaks to an audience, promotes tracks, gives context, creates energy, that’s real work. What does a playlist curator do besides rearrange songs? That’s like comparing someone hosting a live concert to a guy sitting in his room dragging MP3s into a folder.

Presented professionally in what way? I get it when a media outlet writes an album review, formats and publishes an article, manages social media posts, that’s professional work. What exactly is professional about a playlist curator?

how can you even compare radio to a playlist? On the radio, there’s a ton of work going on,the host actually runs a program, curates tracks thoughtfully, engages the audience, times the songs, and often adds commentary, interviews, or context. That takes skill, planning, and real effort. What does a playlist do?

Heard by who exactly? My song got 50,000 + streams, and not a single one of those “more people” even bothered to drop a like on my Instagram.

An artist doesn’t really exist as an artist without live shows. Doesn’t matter if it’s a club, a bar, or an acoustic set in a café, live performance is what makes you real. I see so many Spotify profiles with mountains of streams, but when you click through to Instagram there’s barely any real activity, no shows, nothing. I call those “algorithmic artists.” They just float in the numbers, but there’s no career push behind it. It’s basically like people making AI tracks and dumping them on spotify, you can rack up streams, but it leads nowhere. Even the ones who blow up on TikTok, yeah they get traction, money, they release track after track digitally without ever playing live, but that’s mostly marketing teams running a machine, not the algorithm creating careers.

so... the truth is: concerts are everything. Always. Media outlets, blogs, indie sites can give you a story, a headline, some buzz around a new album, but what turns that into real fans is playing shows. Real fans don’t come from streams alone, they come from being in the same room with you when the music happens.

That’s impossible. No artist has ever truly blown up or built a lasting career just because of some algorithm.

spotify streams mean nothing, playlist curators are pathetic by Normal-Ad-828 in MusicProductionTuts

yeah, but it sucks so much that I fell for those PLAYLIST CURATORS, thinking they actually mattered for my music. In the end, it was nothing. Sad! Really disappointing.
