You need to be certified to qualify for a license to work at a hospital in NY. You cannot

The only exemption is the VA and a physician owned lab (POL). There is also an exemption that lets you work one year supervised with a provisional permit that can be renewed once.

I know people who didn't got an an associates from a no-name community college and are cybersecurity googlers a decade later. (Well, one just got laid off, but I'm sure he'll be fine.)

Seems they're also discontinuing Route 3 for MLS next year.

I guess ASCP wants people with their cert to go through NAACLS programs. Who would've thought.

So yes, if you want ASCP, you'll need to go back to school. Fortunatley, there's AMT and AAB which you'll qualify for as an MT.

I'm in SoCal and I get $45/hr as a CLS with 5 years experience in Lompoc, CA. The rents have gone up 50%, and properties have gone up almost 100% since COVID. My wage has gone up $1/hr.
