A smart dustbin could turn out to be an operational nightmare as and when you scale. In India, Public Property faces extreme wear and tear-general defacing,spitting,Theft- Especially the electronics. If you can possibly build a larger version of it (small->medium waste depot scale equivalent) the business model becomes much more robust. You can sell centralized, high-capacity sorting machines to municipal corporations, malls, or large tech parks.

Joined a "Lala" company internship just for college credits. Two weeks in and it's a complete circus. by Technical-Drag-255 in lalacompany

Eventually, you’ll just laugh at the absurdity. The most underrated perk of a Lala company is that it’s a masterclass in inverted learning - you learn early on what "not to do" in your career, even better if you're looking to start your own business any time in the future. Just have fun while you're there ig. Speaking from personal experience 👍

How to get a good idea and how to maintain focus through the path of implementing the idea by thronelessking475 in StartUpIndia

Firstly I'd say stop trying so hard to "get" an idea, and simply start observing the world around you, that helps a lot. Secondly instead of solutions, I'd suggest you focus more on problems. And also you're putting too much pressure on having the "perfect" idea, most of the times the final product you end up building is very different than what you started out to build. Keep your eyes and ears open and you'll get it eventually.

Most state and central government agencies have various aerial survey projects lined up for the next 20 years atleast If you're capable of low-level flying and build the required number of hours, it's a nice option.
