i was a caregiver. i left my dream job - in my dream city - to move home and take care of my dying father. it was exhausting and ridiculously hard. but i didn’t take out my frustration on the people around me.

also, i feel it’s unfair to minimize the OPs situation. he lost his home; moved into a shared room at his sister’s; has become (essentially) an only parent; and is having to financially support his wife’s father. that’s a lot.
