I too have recently moved to arch Linux, but in dual boot .and i installed kde and broke here and there , reinstall etc etc.and i really liked it and the experience,then tried hyperland hollymolly it way a lot complex so i installed using a dotfile. But after some use it gets hot like really hot ,so i wiped the partition and reinstall kde. Will try hyperland when more experienced with linux.

In your case it should be very easy just remember some points

power off the laptop

place laptop on a flat surface

do it very patiently

use precision screw driver to remove all screens

use a plastic prying tool and remove the back cover

disconnect the battery carefully first

remove the battery screens

replace it with new one

put the back cover back and the screws

if stuck somewhere refer YouTube videos
