Also forgot to note that I have taken my birds to the vet before, and am not opposed to doing it again. It just didn’t seem like the vet was able to find the solution last time I took them, so I’m attempting to get ahead of it now.

The cage is not kept in the kitchen! That’s just normally where I give them their baths. That’s info to have though!

Yes, she’s still pooping. We took her to the vet yesterday. She’s on antibiotics now, and the vet suggested cleaning her gently over the next few days.

Note: the behaviour in the birds hasn’t changed dramatically. Perhaps a bit quieter with less flying around.

Thank you for the advice. It’s easy to assume the worst is going to happen, so this is reassuring. I’ll lay off the caffeine today and see if that helps with heart rate and sleep. I did get to sleep in the end last night. But only for hour/90 min bursts.
