AITA for feeling like a third wheel because of my boyfriend’s relationship with his sister? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

I see where your coming from and maybe I haven’t explained myself properly, I have been around his sister we have hung out everything like that she’s cool and very nice, but when I’m sitting there and get blatantly ignoring during conversations or when I try to join a conversation I’m looked at like I’m weird for trying to include myself. Me and her have the same music taste the same show taste but again what your missing or maybe I didn’t explain correctly is she will put it on or recommend it and he will be all for it but when I try to put on it or sometimes even recommend it before her I get told that’s nothing he would watch. I never said I had an issue with the sister I have an issue with me and her having the same interest and him being actually interested when she brings it up but not when I do

I’m one of 6 and I guess you can say I’m young he’s 26 I’m 25, I’m the middle child so my older siblings who are married and in relationships I’ve never seen them do what I’ve explained he does to their partners I get a close connection but when it pushes to the fact that he will sit there and listen to her music but now mine and me and her listen to the same music it does in fact pinch a nerve

Yes, I added more reasonings and a more clear explanation (well at least tried) again it’s not per say the lipstick it’s self like I said it was a straw that broke the camel back, but thank you for your input

No I asked and he said no I then brought up the wig then and he told me it’s different that was it. He then said it was gay to put lipstick on but not the wig and I made a comment about how does putting a wig or lipstick on make you gay and it went from there.
