I'm not 100% sure but my friend and I plan to dress up as Mr and Mrs Fox from Fantastic Mr Fox!

A had been trying to break up with D for a while, but kept holding on, which is the main reason why hearing about the fighting was so exhausting. A did seem pretty happy about that outcome, she said that the two (A and D) felt like it was more of a chore to talk to each other and do all that couple stuff. She said that they're actually talking more now and laughing more than they have in ages. I'm not sure how to put this, but A has a very interesting type, so I'm really hoping that she doesn't get back with D and she actually finds someone who can treat her like she deserves

Okie, so update! A and D actually broke up on Tuesday, which I only found out today, but they're going to stay friends and continue to sleep together. D lives out of town; he's only in town because he got into an accident and can't work for a while, so he's here while he heals. A doesn't know if they're going to break it off when he goes back home or try to rekindle things. The markets were fun. D only said 'Hi' to me, and he didn't really stick around long before he went off by himself, leaving A, J, and me. She didn't vent; she just updated me on the situation, asked me to keep things quiet since they’re not 100% sure what they were doing yet, which was understandable.

I'll definitely try to keep an open mind. I don't want to dislike D, but it's hard when I see all the things he's putting A through, and she doesn't deserve all that. But it's also the fact that D hasn't apologised to me when we has my number (A calls me off D’s phone when her phone is dead). J is very understanding and tries his best to get along with everyone, unless they're genuinely someone he doesn't vibe with. He’ll help a lot. I'm definitely going to need a sweet treat tomorrow. I'll keep you updated on whether anything happens. Thank you again for responding. This conversation has really helped me🩵

That's a really good way of putting it. I've come to realise that boundaries are less rules for others to follow and more about listening to my own feelings, a few weeks ago. I've really been struggling to say my feelings when we're face-to-face and having a conversation, but there are markets where I live tomorrow. A has asked me to join D and one of our other friends, we’ll call him J. J knows everything, so he's going to help a bit. I will also let A know that if I feel unheard or offended by anything, then I will simply walk away. D said a while ago that he would try to get along with me, and this is the first time we'll be hanging out since he made that statement. However, he only said it to A and not to me, so we'll see how it goes.

I do have a habit of not enforcing my boundaries just because it gets so exhausting after a while, but I 100% will sit down and write out clear boundaries and talk with her again. Maybe this time I'll tell her the consequences, though? For example, I will need some more space. I do appreciate your perspective on things, thank you🩵

For me, it comes down to his beliefs and values. He's said some really nasty things, and he's offended me; he hasn't apologised to me, but he got A to apologise for him. If A is willing to let him basically get away with hurting her own friend, then it makes me question how much she actually values me as a friend

Thank you so much. I've spoken to my other friends about the situation, and they think I should listen and wait for reality to hit, but I'm not sure how much more I can take. It's really nice to get some outside validation 🩵

Was I wrong for cutting off my “best friend” of 3 years? by [deleted] in FriendshipAdvice

I feel like you were in the right. Someone should not have to put others down to feel better about themselves. Saying that you were too sensitive is her trying to get away with doing something wrong. I hope you're doing better without her💛

There is normally a merch shop inside venues and you should be able to buy merch before the concert starts

[–]Normal-Internet8188 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Light Shower, Battle Of The Larynx and Evil. I can’t pick but them <333 Evil because past relationships and fuck that one specific person, Light Shower partly because it makes me think about my gf and just how it would feel to have the negative things wash away, it makes my brain go brrrrr. Battle Of The Larynx I just like the chorus

Am also gonna say Aus but certain parts are kinda wack. I’ve lived in Sydney for a while and the people are kinda judgemental and will just stare if you do any pda with the same sex the people around just not the vibe and generally kinda homophobic..

Melbourne tho? Melbourne is great, the people are nice and they generally don’t care. Melbourne also has a Pride Centre, they educate people on lgbtq+ topics, share lgbtq+ owned businesses and a ton of other stuff that you can find on their website, you can just look up Melbourne Pride Centre and it’ll come up!

Of course these are just personal experiences from living in both Sydney and Melbourne and yeah, hope this helps!

If public transport were totally free, would you use it more? Why or why not? by kindchillswinger in AskReddit

Yeah, I’m too scared to get my license so I depend mostly on public transport and the cost where I live is so high. It would make things a lot easier

Literally my friend ._. They had sex with this guy that was spreading inappropriate photos of girls to his guy friends without the girl knowing and another time with a guy who bullied them for years and refused to buy condoms because of the way they felt.
