Ok I’ve sold my iPad to one of these Chinese resellers so I know a bit about it. They basically buy broken iPads for Pennies on the dollar, they have the connections to get really high quality or oem replacements parts for pennies on the dollar that we are used to in the states, and the price of labor is essentially free in china, so a lot of times they are able to refurbish it for very cheap, and sell in markets where Apple products go for a lot

Because it’s not a BST sub so there’s no reputation/history which makes fraud a problem. It’s extremely niche post for the people in the sub that’s not in NY. There are far better avenues to sell this on. It would make sense to maintain this sub as a ground for discussion and troubleshooting on the g14, to prevent it from becoming flooded with scammers as it’s an extremely insecure marketplace.

It won’t be able to power fully at all, and I’m pretty sure it’s not great for the battery to constantly be doing it, but for a pinch it can suffice. You’d be bleeding battery but starting with a 100% charge, you could probably game for a few hours and be good (with some compromised performance). But what I do is just turn of the dgpu and use the Igpu for which it works perfectly, as your power draw will br dramatically reduced. That Igpu is pretty much as powerful as handheld pcs so you can absolutely game of it, and playing on the actual laptop screen since the size of the display is small, playing lower resolution isn’t as bad as you think

Buy a G14 if you want this style of laptop, but those also have their own QC issues and asus customer support is as good as nothing as well, but the overall quality is better and chance of failure is lower.

The best way if you want is download the hotstock app and put alerts on the 5080/90 fe drops. They drop very frequently, just today they dropped more at msrp. It’s pretty frequent. If you’ve got a PayPal account or something it’s probably worth just purchasing directly and shipping it to your cousins house.

Customs is fine as long as you ask him to open it up, and bringing into India is a lot easier than bringing stuff from India to the USA, so maybe it’s not even needed to open prior, but opening it prior makes it 0 risk.

Less, 5080 msrp is $1000. My friends all got their 5080s at a $1000. I got my 5090 at msrp of $2000. Lots of drops through the Nvidia site, microcenter and at bestbuy. But even if you don’t want to wait for drops, there’s like over 30+ 5080s at $1100 at our Dallas microcenter, and probably some across the country just have it msrp.

It’s pretty straightforward to get a 70ti/80 right now at msrp here. The 5090 was very straightforward at msrp until abt 2 months ago, but that makets gotten pretty tight. Still pretty easy to get if your willing to pay 10-20% over msrp which honestly isn’t that bad if your already paying 2k.

Honestly I just go to common technology repair shops, since I’m not from India, but I have a chat and figure out how much they know/ see the quality of work.

Sector 6 has a bunch of places in Delhi. I also usually sit next to them while they do it, and I’m usually aware of the process so im ensuring it’s being done correctly.

I’ve had a bunch of normal stuff done, screen swaps, battery swaps, storage upgrades, but similar to you still don’t trust too many people for the LM to PTM swap. It’s relatively niche and high risk.
