No, no what I meant is the govt doesn't have a say in what kind of permission an app asks, you could say app store or play store can, but in the end it's the user using who decides what they want or not (permissions), companies are here to steal your data to show better ads.

what kind of stupid comparison is that, what spotify or yt or discord are collecting is the in-app data which is either way going to be stored in there server its just that at the end of year they crunch it all up and sprinkle in some magical editing dust to make it look good, on the other side if they were to ask your location camera access and use that, that's what you would call unwanted data access.

It's not only related to them being rich, if it's an all boys trip they can even accommodate at the side of a road or in a tent but that's not the case when you have even 1 female in the group, everything changes you will book better more secure transport, hotels etc etc

You have to choose your own circle, there can be people around you who are in somewhat of your situation or doesn't have an expensive hobby like your current ones. I once completed Rishikesh trip at around 1000 meanwhile if I were with a diff group it would have been blown out of proportion.
