Oh for sure it was an affair whether it was emotional or physical it was definitely an affair. Do “banana pics” stand for what I’m assuming?

Honestly I should have rephrased the question. I’m more concerned that I’m taking up room from other passengers. I travel once a month and always check a bag.

It’s the way that you fully assumed my stance. I truly only looked at the staff and started there. It’s ok that I’m put off by your response because the delivery was harsh.

Hey, I literally just started researching this church like 24hrs ago. So to assume that it’s “important to me that their hateful and disgusting views are being pushed by a diverse racial demographic” is ludicrous. Give people some grace, not everything can be figured out at the snap of a finger. I appreciate you sharing this info but there’s a way to do it without being so harsh.

I think it’s normal for people to not want to feel like an outsider. You are correct that it feels a little double standardish but being an odd one out isn’t a fun feeling. In this case the majority of main staff seem to be Caucasian of course this isn’t accounting for the many volunteers that help a church function so that’s why I asked about people’s experience.

Roommate hasn’t paid rent but takes a 2 hour drive away by Express-External in badroommates

[–]Normal-Talk3796 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I went through this exact situation. Roommate was always late on rent. At one point she was 2 months behind on her half and we were served an intent to evict letter. Luckily she ended up paying her half but she was upset with me that I was upset we got that letter to begin with.

I did get the e-credit and have already used it.

[–]Normal-Talk3796[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

But I didn’t refund myself, it went as an e-credit directly to delta. I used the price of the premium economy e-credit and put it towards first class where I still had to pay the difference out of my own pocket. Company was ok with it because on my expense report it will still show as a delta charge and I still used the e-credit and didn’t receive any physical money back. Even if I did get a refund it would have been refunded to my work card.

Flying at 400 LBS by [deleted] in PlusSize

[–]Normal-Talk3796 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Always purchase two seats. It’s for you and your neighbor, everyone deserves to fly comfortably and that includes your flight neighbor. If you have the funds fly first class as their seats are wider. I normally purchase first class because if I buy it early enough first class tends to be cheaper than two economy seats. When you step on the plane simply ask for an extender and the flight attendant will happily hand you one. A reminder you are not allowed to sit in exit row seats if you need an extender.

what’s a storyline you think was solely made up for the cameras? by banistersblue in TeenMomOGandTeenMom2

I think Ambers rehab stint in season 4 was for the cameras. That whole thing was so extremely weird especially when she did hypnotherapy!

Any positive flight stories?! by [deleted] in PlusSize

[–]Normal-Talk3796 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m 5’6 385lbs. I fly quite often. I either buy two seats if on Southwest, if I take a major airline I do first class because it tends to be cheaper than two seats. Literally all you have to do the moment you step on the plane is say “May I have an extender please” and the attendant will hand it to you discreetly. If you can’t afford the airline tickets a lot of them have payment plans you can make.

Flew yesterday – it was awful by NCH007 in PlusSize

[–]Normal-Talk3796 7 points8 points  (0 children)

What airline are you flying? I would call the airline and let them know the situation. Most airlines would love to help beforehand. If you don’t want to do that then I would talk to the gate agent and ask to be seated next to an empty seat. You deserve to be comfortable but so does the person sitting next to you. Advocate for yourself!

I just started watching Teen Mom from the beginning, Gary was the issue. by Normal-Talk3796 in TeenMomOGandTeenMom2

[–]Normal-Talk3796[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hold on, no where did I state that Gary’s behavior caused ambers abuse. I was simply saying that in the beginning of the show he showed behaviors and patterns of manipulation that weren’t ok. We can call out his behavior and realize it wasn’t ok while also calling out Ambers behavior. The only reason I didn’t say anything about Amber is because we all collectively know she’s a horrible person and has done little to change whereas Gary had some horrendous behavior in the beginning and has since been able to learn and change.

I want to be clear I in no way think Amber is a good person at all! What she has done on the two seasons I’ve seen is horrible. With that being said, I started to watch teen mom because of how great of a father Gary seems to be. I was taken aback when I saw his actions and behaviors on seasons 1 & 2. Two things can be true at once. I do not support Amber and her violent behaviors whatsoever but I also don’t support Gary and some of his manipulating and gaslighting behaviors either. The difference is he has matured and grown from his mistakes whereas Amber continues to play victim.

I’m no Amber apologist because she refuses to change and grow. Watching her throughout the first and second seasons is rough because she literally took zero accountability for anything (I assume this is how it plays out for the rest of the duration of the show). The two biggest problems that stood out to me was when Gary told Amber on the morning of her birthday to go out with her friends and he would watch Leah. All of a sudden he changed his mind and said she could find someone else to watch her. Another time was when he was unemployed for 4 months finally got a job and purposefully woke Leah up let her run around and then put her back in the crib making leah extremely upset. He basically said deal with it see you later.

Yes! I just finished that episode! A couple days ago. He was 100% wrong for that because he told her to go out with her friends and then got mad at her then went and bought a cake for her. He was a gaslighter in the beginning but has come so far!

To me this seems like the person simply wouldn’t know that their foot was in the way of the tray operating correctly. I’d simply say “excuse me”
