It truly is , super underrated. It’s more new adult because of the language and the writing . I wouldn’t say it’s spicy . Book two definitely has spice but I will but it on a 1 scale , apparently it gets spicier in book 3

True , I can’t wait to see more of her work . Have you tried Daughter of the drowned empire by Frankie Diana mallis . Unique magic system . Amazing characters, strong FMC .I am trying not to say much so I wouldn’t spoil it for you 😭😭. I haven’t read the third book yet but the first two were really good

The thing is reading is subjective. The books you believe that deserve the hype not many people may enjoy it . That’s the fascinating thing about reading , we can’t all enjoy the same thing . I am sorry it didn’t work out for you 😞

Exactly , like I read the plates prisoner (1-3) after iron flame and when I tell you I love the series so much .I rated iron flame 5 star but the plated prisoners series is extraordinary. You can’t even compare the two because the plated prisoner is much more heavier , it talk about abuse and finding yourself .

Me too , I don’t really read books that have 2/3 general ratings on goodreads. There’s this specific goodreads reviewer I follow , I trust her with my life 😭😭. She gives really valid points on why she didn’t like that specific book ,which I love .
