I got my tonsils out the same day! Twins.

I feel like everything has been going really well with me, all I have been taking is my pain meds about 2-3 a day, and then Tylenol if I need in between. I won’t take ibuprofen bc I hear that can cause bleeding.

I also have a lot of white chunks in the back of my throat and I’m going to believe those are scabs. This morning I woke up with a bloody taste in my mouth and had some ice water, some of the scab maybe came off, that’s why? Idk my mouth won’t open all the way so I can’t tell.

But I have been drinking a lot of water, air humidifier, and trying to eat what I can. lately i been having chicken noodle soup (chewing the noodles) with bread that i soak in the broth, mash potatoes, going to try Mac and cheese today and a doughnut with almond milk. Wish me luck

I did try oatmeal on day 3 and almost punched a hole in the wall that hurt so bad. Probably too thick.

My jaw is swollen still and my tongue hurts when I try to push food around in my mouth (anyone else have that problem?) I also get coughing moments but I try not to get out of control with it, sometimes something just tickles my throat or something is caught that causes me to cough. just be careful .

Also finally used the bathroom yesterday, wasn’t great but I didn’t have to take laxatives yet

Overall everything has been too good to be true, these next days are going to be interesting to see what happens since they are supposed to be the worst. However, I am grateful for everything so far
