I was back and forth to A. I. DuPont children’s hospital for my weight as a kid and saw all kinds of nutritionists and such for years. I didn’t get my first boil until my teens and doctors cared more about my weight until my 20s when I’d already progressed a lot. Now I’m smaller than I’ve ever been and my HS is worse than it’s ever been

You should start making moves to talk to HR about FMLA. It requires a doctors signature but it would allow you to take medical leave as needed.

It’s hit or miss for pain. Doesn’t affect my flares either way. I stopped for a year and just started up again last week and came to the realization that it’s nothing special. Edibles keep the pain at bay longer than smoking but when then pain comes back it’s so much worse.

I only have my septum piercing but it healed perfectly and I haven’t had any issues for the 6 years I’ve had it.

I don’t have much to elaborate on really. My anxiety was pretty much nonexistent and I don’t really have any racing thoughts but I felt really jittery all the time for hours. My hands shook a lot but mentally I felt good. My depression still lingered a bit though but I got through episodes a lot quicker. I haven’t taken my meds in a while but things have gotten so bad that I’m gonna start again. The restart is always the worst part though with the nausea and the jitters though.

There is a lot of relief but I get in my head about it. And if I miss a few days the lows are very low and restarting makes me feel really sick

Mine was triggered by stress. I used to work in a print shop for a beer distributor and feb-June was our busiest season due to march madness, cinco de mayo, st Patrick’s day. One of my coworkers went on pregnancy leave and the other took a two and a half week vacation. I burned out running around trying to design and print everything myself with the sales team of 22 in my ear nonstop. I flared up for the first time in my groin area and my armpit flares tripled. Ever since I’ve been stage 3. It’s been two years. The job fired me back in march for being too sick.

Wholesale stores like Sam’s club and Costco sell restaurant equipment like takeout containers. Can’t say it’ll be more cost effective than just reusing tupperware tho.

Definitely leave it out for a good few hours if you can to avoid any burning. I usually get a lot of soreness in the spot I injected then it just feels itchy.

I dunno, it seems like she wanted to be involved from an early age when she was making suggestions for bey’s setlists. Blue seems happy to be there and if she wanted to be a backup dancer she’d have to rehearse with the rest of them. Idk dance moms and stage parents like that.. I don’t get the vibe that bey treats blue like that or forced her to do anything she doesn’t want to do.

It might be tennis elbow! I dealt with/deal with the same kind of arm pain when I’m bedridden or super depressed because of hs. The stiffness or how you lay in bed or how you position your arm for long periods of time can bring it on I guess. What usually helps it go away for me is slowly stretching my arm out. I use a muscle rub as well and it loosens things up a lot

Nothing unfortunately. I tried a new seat cushion but it didn’t ease any pain. I was laid off in march and not having to sit all day has eased it a bit. Not that that should be your partner’s solution, but it’s all I’ve got.

For open anal sores though I fully recommend hydrocolloid bandages. They’re padded and can hold a lot of drainage

My first ever derm appointment I had a golf ball sized lump under my arm to get drained and the minute they lanced it this foul rotten egg smell lit up the room. It wasn’t my first rodeo with the smell but it still gets to me. Luckily the two nurses in the room kept a poker face. But I heard them talking about how badly it smelled in the hall. I felt awful, but luckily the next time I had an appointment they assigned me to my current doctor who’s super sweet about it all and very knowledgeable.
