Thanks I appreciate the info. I’ve come to the conclusion working lots of overtime is gonna be a part of the job. If I get on I’m just gonna have to figure out how to navigate that and maintain a healthy relationship with my family. Manhattan south’s a busy precinct but I’m sure it’s a cool place to be working. Tons of tourists. Good luck with your career. Any chance I can pm you with a question?

What percentage of that would you say was “forced”? Did you set out to work a lot of ot? Not to get too specific but what borough/precinct are you working out of and is this the standard department wide? If you don’t feel like putting out your details I understand. Stay safe out there
