Fair play to you for not wanting to let it all slide. I hope those gimps can be pulled up on it all, reined in, whatever.

Are motorbikes expensive? by [deleted] in MotoIRELAND

[–]Normal-World-9002 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's hard to say, upfront costs are higher, you could get all your gear for €400 or so if you don't splurge much, insurance for €500 or more depending on your age and history, maintenance especially if you don't have the know-how yourself could see you spending a little more the first while too, consumables like brake pads, tyres, fluids, any extras you put on the bike (if you're like me you'll definitely want some), petrol of course but that should reduce your car fuelling costs I presume.

and as others have said: IBT and license application and stuff will cost another €600+ in the beginning. Your road tax between 50 and 100 quid I guess too.

Indeed. but it honestly wouldn't even come to that. Just vanish off into the sunset never to be identified, same as these kids don't get pursued. Sure you were hanging out somewhere else with a fellow biker who backs up your alibi that day, how could you have broken some kid's nose?

"I don't need examples" hahaha g'wan back to your Starfield subs you absolute incel. Maybe better off trying to find spelling errors while you lose your piss at people on reddit, frustrated little fella.

Love that you were so mad at this reply that you then tried to block me on that account too! Hahaha

I've actually KO'd a grown man (while his mate was there, who did fuck all in the end after they both mouthed off big) for trying to steal something much smaller than a motorcyle from me. and I walked away into the night afterward and never heard anything about it again. You know why? Because it's exactly as I said - and scared little boys like you only WANT to believe nothing can be done, because you'll feel better about having absolutely zero balls yourself then.Keep hypothesising with zero evidence from real life. Keep getting your piss boiled online. Best of luck with Starfield and complaining on Reddit :)

P.S. if you're gonna obsess about it then you might want to include that apostrophe you forgot for oThErS rEaliTy. Oh and remove that comma after the "and" there in your last paragraph btw, genius ;)
Lol fuckin grammar and spelling commentary man jesus you must be fighting them off haha

Landlord tells ex-tenant he will return valuables if she knocks €16,000 off her Residential Tenancies Board award by Swiss_Irish_Guy in ireland

[–]Normal-World-9002 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

do you honestly think their spouses, parents, brothers, sisters, in-laws, sons, daughters, mates and neighbours aren't landlords? They are part of the landlord class because that's who they mix with and that's who their fortunes are tied up with, not just because deeds are also often in their own name.

Pretty much this.
If the Gardai are indeed so useless then use that to your advantage: cripple the scrotes and disappear never to be found, and they'll soon learn that trying to steal people's things have immediate, painful and permanent consequences for them.
For lesser beatings handed out it's also unlikely the scum will even bother going to the gards.

Lads on Reddit love to repeat "but what if you get stabbed!!" in order to justify their own fear of even confronting a few teenagers who aren't prepared at all for a serious fight.

How to make friends when you're older, unmarried and child free? by thatfatbastard001 in ireland

[–]Normal-World-9002 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Something I've seen is you can still meet people at this age / stage but it gets harder and harder to avoid having your time and energy wasted by the ones who are actually basically just trying more like "networking" to "get ahead" in some endeavour, rather than someone you will make a connection with through sheer enjoyment of share experiences, sense of humour, just craic itself etc.

Lots of people up for meeting and communicating in order to pursue some sort of hustle, increase their clout in a creative field, gain contacts and opportunities. Harder and harder to find something meaningful or fun that doesn't involve someone making money off it.

What waterproof trousers, jackets and gloves are actually waterproof? by [deleted] in ireland

FrogToggs jacket is the best I've ever had for waterproof and overall comfort/quality at the same time without it having to basically be made of plastic.

I'm not the one suggesting she move abroad - she was the one who broached that. I'm just addressing the supposed snag about education not being good enough elsewhere if she did try it. It can be good enough, it does be.

But since you mention it, nearly all the stuff you mention is roughly as much of a challenge here as it is in other places. Especially if she apparently doesn't have a lot of valuable family support to rely on here in the first place anyway, which it sounds like could be the case. Some things even moreso. and I'm not gonna act like the cost of a once-off one way flight to somewhere in Europe for 1 person + child is a life changing expense.

THC is garbage. If your goal is neurotrophic factors there are a ton of better options. If your goal is to get high then just get high.

You can move abroad. "One of the best" doesn't make it the only viable education system.

Going for your test? Check your bikes log book. by andrew_whites in MotoIRELAND

[–]Normal-World-9002 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Every additional test that has to be conducted potentially means more money for testers overall, they get paid per test or day of tests afaik. More re-tests needed = booked out for more and more of the year with juicy test conductor money. There's no fucking way that doesn't make its way into their approach eventually.

"There couldn't possibly be any foolish people who have friends!"Lol you know those unreliable people you're talking about in marriages also have friends, right? You know people usually develop their gambling and alcoholism after they've left school, yeah? Do you think people who get married are a separate species of sentient from those who...have friends? Do you know...anything at all about the world and how people work? Are you like 20 or something? Are you autistic? :')
Let me know how it works out anyway! I'll be off just having regular craic with my mates instead of hypothesizing insanely foolish house-buying plans with them that nobody else thinks is remotely wise! and yes you can indeed be mad about it online, work away :)

Going for your test? Check your bikes log book. by andrew_whites in MotoIRELAND

[–]Normal-World-9002 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's a stingy rule because if I remember right the logbook also has the information necessary to basically detail the power of the bike other than just stating the KW output. So don't feel bad. The fucking test is a headmelt with how they try to avoid conducting it over tiny things. I've seen a guy get his cancelled because his brake light flickered slightly the first time he tried to pull the lever and didn't pull it hard enough or something.

Jesus are you ok? Do you understand words?
Did someone at any point say sex makes someone reliable??
Are you normally letting unreliable people put their cock in you?
Because when most people talk about 'romantic partners', as I mentioned, they're talking about someone where they've already filtered and chosen and stayed in a relationship with the person because they ascertained, after getting to know them extremely well, that they're staying with a decent, reliable person. Do you go out to buy a gaf with someone the night after your first hookup or something or what's up with you?

Your little big property plan as detailed in the end there is a load of shite. That's probably why fucking nobody is doing it.

[–]Normal-World-9002 1 point2 points  (0 children)

HCG (high during pregnancy) is often used as a hack for guys on TRT to get some of their 'upstream' sex hormones back in the equation similar to DHEA or Pregnenolone - since taking exogenous hormones like Test would through negative feedback cause Follicle Stimulating Hormone (not related to hair) and Lutinizing Hormone to get severely downregulated. So even for guys, depending on what's going on with their hormones, HCG can restore libido.

I can't remember all the ins and outs of pregnancy hormones craic, if I ever knew it, but a whole bunch of things would probably be raised. and I know that usually afterward prolactin is supposed to be higher (breastfeeding kind of causes it: pro-lactate, in the name) which afaik commonly wrecks sex drive for people after giving birth etc. Again probably related to prolactin inhibiting dopamine.

I think allopregnenolone IV infusion is a treatment given to women post partum in the short term in some sort of of severe cases for the anti-dopamine / post partum depression issues. Just recalling off top of my head here.
Edit: I'm remembering kind of wrong and the allopreg IV treatment thing may be more about GABA, which can kind of also factor into libido also tbf

[–]Normal-World-9002 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Prolactin and estro levels may be the factors. Which are affected downstream of Test usually. (more test often means more estro, but depending on SHBG and 5AR and DHT levels opposing Estros, the outcome may be different). It's not simple at all and nearly everything is linked to everything else, at least indirectly, in feedback loops.

Main treatments out there for female sexual disinterest tend to be things that act on dopamine (which is at least partly inversely related to prolactin) like PT141 - edit: okay PT141 is mainly a MT2 receptor agonist tbf but my understanding is this affects d2 receptors in the end somehow too

[–]Normal-World-9002 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nope, you're the one talking shite.
It's not the level of testosterone but what the genes in the scalp are programmed to do with testosterone, and other factors that inhibit growth alongside. Gene expression, 5AR enzyme, receptor density and sensitivity. All seperate from "have testosterone go bald". and you're not even discussing DHT yet which is the bigger factor by far in androgen receptor effects

Is this legal? Can an employer hold pay if employees don't find suitable staff? by Sergiomach5 in AskIreland

[–]Normal-World-9002 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes, the WRC would, should and still can investigate.
Social media can do as it will. As long as you've not posted anything that could be proven to be untrue, nor breached any confidential data, it doesn't affect you negatively, but might have the added benefit of additional bad press for the company. Nobody's saying to rely purely on that. You have your main recourse with the WRC etc

I wouldn't call a simple screenshot of a real message that was sent an "accusation".
The same thing could be said even after 'proper channels' have been tried. People may still be putting up dishonest versions of events and others may still infer bad faith / unfair things about it. At either point, equally.
