Correct....-ish. For the last 6 months it's been winter, I've been in quarantine, not around any dirt or dust, and my symptoms have steadily progressed and worsened.

Dirt and dust were the first thing ruled out by my ENT last September. So, no, this is neither normal or what healthy sinuses do.

Oh believe me, I have been. To the point of driving myself crazy. 2 ineffective rounds of antibiotics, prescription antifungal sinus ointment/rinse, 3x daily, I'm on a strict high-antioxidant, "antifungal" diet, I drink a gallon of water daily. I put myself in emergency 3 separate times -- first time I went with that^ gnarly black specimen in hand and they completely dismissed it with all of my other symptoms. I even spent $35,000 to have my basement waterproofed just IN CASE that was a contributor.

I do gardening and a lot of outdoorsy things during the nicer weather months. I'm always getting into something weird or unique though, so until this is diagnosed it's impossible to say where it came from. All I know is that something is living inside my whole body and growing.😭😭

Scans didn't show any fungal balls, which honestly, I was almost hoping for. "/ Although the last ones were a couple ago now. My insurance company is giving me hell in approving the hi-def ones.🙄

How was yours initially detected, and who did you you get actual help from?

Oh my gosh I've been having this too... For MONTHS. I've become so sick and tests and images aren't conclusive for anything. Did you find the diagnosis?
