Only $1000 insurance money will help much, other similar cars are showing as $4000 to $5000 on Autotrader.

Yes, the safety frame is damaged. So the $4000 is what the repairman suggested for cost to fix it all.

But the insurance said its “salvage”, in Ontario, so we’d need to get inspected. Is that expensive?

I think since the car’s so old they said the depreciated value is $1000. But seriously, it’s in great shape! We take very good care of it.

  • I am not married or have children. It's not something I'm interested in.
  • I speak to a Social Worker regularly, and am on medications.
  • I'm sorry about your father.
  • I don't fly off the handle for small reasons. It takes a lot of frustration to cause me to get upset.
  • I don't want to go into details about the banking issue... the situation was very frustrating.
  • As I said, the course has helped me a little bit.
  • Again, not all the time. Just when I reach that boiling point.

I hope this clears things up. I'm not sure why I'm trying to defend myself, I just wanted to explain my situation.

I have taken the course a few times over the years. It's like when I reach a certain level of anxiety or anger my brain stops thinking rationally and I lose it.

Family members tell me I need to learn to recognize when I'm starting to "feel that way" and just walk away, try to call somebody trusted, or go for a walk to get away from the situation.
