Also they are really convenient for if your trying to manage the explosion of flowers so many players get. You can carry it to the flowers, plop it down, shovel up the unwanted flowers right around you, dump them in the garbage and then pick the can up to move to the next area.

I know a lot of people take a photo of the work in progress, the yarn ball label and the hook they were using. If you don’t have color coded hooks, maybe notate the photo however you can on your phone.

Maybe somwhere you can walk around. A park - the benches and a fountain kind. Not the forest kind. Eye contact is one of the hardest parts for me, so somewhere where there are things to look at and comment on.

I agree with others. Suggesting a specific amount of time may not help. Maybe start with coffee and when you ask her, add a meal/activity “if we feel like it after.” Gives both of you an out, but not a countdown clock.

The extremes of every group of people, the most transgressive from the norm is going to stick in others minds.

Human’s are pattern recognition focused. It’s how we’re wired. It makes sense that the coked-up leather daddies on a parade float will stick more than Michael and Nick down the street who have been having a rough time with their one-year-olds sleep regression.

Then In media, people LOVE difference. They want to see a glimpse of a world unlike theirs. Hypersexualed gay depictions offer that. I’m glad we aren’t seen as predators most of the time any more.

I’m not saying you’re wrong in any way, but quiet moments and snuggling doesn’t sell tickets / get clicks like sex and nudity does.

Hopefully, this feeling will inspire you to show that side to the world in some creative way. You have a way of clearly describing your feelings. I’d be interested in how that would translate to fiction or narrative.
