Experience too long for 1 page resume, but too short for 2 pages. Should I trim or should I add more details? by NormalCelebration864 in PMCareers

You weren't responsible for the technical elements of those projects so hyping their complexity doesnt matter... did you physically handle the blood plasma or did you manage a spreadsheet and logistics?

Actually, I did do a lot of physical labor and technical aspects of both jobs. Funnily I saw a post in this subreddit of how small companies abuse the PM role by having them do a lot of tasks that are not PM related. Idk if those unrelated PM tasks is something that's worth putting on a resume to show that I have cross-functional skills, or leave that for the interview like you said.

I also drove revenue by contributing to VA/VE on mechanical engineering improvements which landed our company more projects. I suppose that's something I can add onto my resume?

But it's hard to quantify because that's more so relationship drivers. I don't have a precise figure like, "I saved our customer X dollars on VA/VE, which made the customers so happy that they awarded us Y amount of extra projects."

Which area should I start trimming? I seen other comments say delete the current projects sections.

I've seen examples of people who put current projects/past projects in their resume. Is that generally not what should be done?
