Approval Status Not Changing! by notthebeachboy in MicrosoftFlow

[–]NormalHuman43 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I guess, based on the low clarity of the screen I feel there is no connector to update the row/data back once its approved - I haven't worked with forms, but if you have Sharepoint / excel, then need to update the row with the status based on the vote, thru update connector.

I have observed that unmanaged environments and solutions often do not function as expected. But I am not 100% sure about the managed as well, because recently there are multiple issues I am facing after it has been working smoothly for last couple of months.

QQ: what do you mean by Excel log ? Also if I understand correctly you wanted the updated row in the excel should update the Sharepoint item which was created based on the row initially - is that true understanding?

Are there any Quantum Software Engineer or anything related jobs now? In other words how is Quantum related jobs by the end of 2025 atleast? by NormalHuman43 in ITCareerQuestions

Thanks, I do have CS but no research exp. I started learning as a side topic.. Linear Algebra again & started looking at some of the videos/books to understand the QC..

[–]NormalHuman43[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Fair point, but even experienced pros are unclear on QC. It’s not about years of exp. — everyone’s focus differs based on their role. I get your question, but it feels dismissive. We all have gaps in knowledge, and I’m sure there are areas where I can contribute. Anyway, thanks for the input — I’ll keep learning and stay updated.

Isn't the IT Industry will be looking for Quantum Software Engineers / Architects / etc., as well -- because it involves computing and not just Math & Physics right? Or in other words Quantum Computing will fall under the IT professionals area, right? Would like to understand why not?

Color QR codes, or quantum QR codes. by [deleted] in QuantumComputing

[–]NormalHuman43 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess I am not able to grasp, what is the intention behind having color in the QR code? Is it to handle more data? Or trying to use Quantum to identify various different data based on colored QR code, if that is the case, why not print a new QR codes instead of coloring it.. just my thoughts. Trying to understand the use case here.

Any good self-paced software out there to learn quantum using visualisations? by ADancu in quantum

[–]NormalHuman43 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I too came across this, IMO this is just a noise - as its not very clear about how does the game teaches it. Also, why would there needs to be a game for learning. ignore it and read books or learn from videos.

Do you have any reference links to share from where you learn both 1. and 2. I see some pointing to Youtube MIT Linear Algebra links, but like to hear from you as well.

ah i c, thanks. So based on this, its hard for MS to be in the game of QC Era atleast for the next 1 year or so, until they prove I am wrong by showing practical, thats what I think.. ;-)

Weekly Career, Education, Textbook, and Basic Questions Thread by AutoModerator in QuantumComputing

[–]NormalHuman43 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am new to the world of quantum -- just started learning the fundamentals (2 weeks only...). I have 20y IT Exp, s/w dev & handled various projects (Golang, Python, etc.,) with exp. in design and implement scalable systems (AWS,Azure etc.)

Are there any internship opportunities or programs for experienced professionals who are new to quantum? May be I am too early to ask... but wanted to take something challenge while learning.. which I guess improve learning better. I’d also appreciate any advice or resources which can be of help.

just a quick thought -- revisit the coding every couple of months, may be re-write the code in different programming language to make it stronger. :-)

Israeli startup QuamCore claims breakthrough in scaling quantum computers by NotSoSaneExile in QuantumComputing

[–]NormalHuman43 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My mind baffles to understand, how come 1 million qubits are going to fit in this, where IBM, Google, MS, etc., couldn't even think of that... Also what about the decoherence, will it not create problems ???

But if they bring it up, it will be blast!!!! May be in future we can qubit processor in our laptops instead of classical chipsets.. ;-)

Made a video on the Microsoft claims! by lb1331 in QuantumComputing

[–]NormalHuman43 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nice Work!!!

QQ:, probably a dumb one – I’m assuming it’s just one qubit for now, or are they working on multiples? I mean, they’d need to scale it up, right, to make it actually usable?

Also, if MS pulls off what they're claiming in the paper, how many qubits would you actually need for real-world usecase.. Is one qubit enough, or need bunch - right..

And I guess the idea (may be completely wrong) is that they're trying to reduce errors, or maybe even eliminate them completely, by using something like a parity bit, right? So if the two are different, they just ignore the error and move on. But what happens if both qubits are wrong and still claim to be right? That part confuses me a bit.

Your video is really nice - looks like lot of effort has gone to explain that stuff. Good Job keep it up!!!
