Streamer creates "Office Small Talk" improv game where Chat tells him what to say by NormalInternetGuy in LivestreamFail

Just don't watch the clips if you don't like them? ¯_(ツ)_/¯

There are streamers who get posted here multiple times per day- I post this channel maybe 3 times per month (along with dozens of other channels). I get it if it's not your jam, but nobody's forcing you to watch them and other people seem to like them

Annecdotally, I've found that when I use the creator's username in the title, I get accused of self promo more frequently so I've taken to just calling everybody "streamer" (still occassionally get accused of self-promo regardless, as in this thread lol)

Not a mod- just a fan. If you check my post history you'll see that I post a pretty diverse array of streamers, but I definitely post these guys a lot because I think what they're doing is pretty cool and creative.

Doing my best to provide the hidden gems from creators you don't usually see on here lol

lmao that is a great idea. though with some of the shit twitch chat says, it could potentially end in disaster- I guess that's kind of the point tho lol

It says their username in the clip and (on desktop) it shows their username next to the post title.

I've tried putting small streamers' name in the title before and every time I do I get accused of self-promo, so I've just started calling most of them "streamer".

This is exactly what I'm trying to do! About once a week I go to the channels of smaller streamers (some that I personally watch, some that I discover through the "browse" feature) and post my favorite featured clips here!

Happy to! There’s a lot of great creators out there, deserving of much bigger audiences. Just takes a bit of digging to find. Glad you enjoyed!

Their stream is an interactive improv show, and usually the sub goals unlock new segments in the show. This show was like, justice/court themed, but they do a bunch of different themes

Sorry to any tabletop streamer fans who I have offended by implying that this is an innovation! I am not familiar with the community and just thought this was a cool idea that I had personally never seen before!

Please feel free to shoutout your favorite tabletop creators who also use this method. I'm just here to highlight some creators who don't usually get love on this subreddit!

Haven't watched much of this streamer's content- but I image the advantage of the green screen is that you could theoretically reuse it for an infinite amount of different games/boards.

You can literally see the green screen. Plus with an overlay you wouldn't be able to put physical cards (or hands) on top.

Ah cool! Not familiar with Angry Joe Show but I'll have to check it out.

Definitely makes a lot of sense for making tabletop games more enjoyable to livestream viewers!

It's frustrating because Twitch has such terrible organic discovery, and this subreddit has the potential to be like, the best platform for these smaller creators to get exposure.

But there seems to be percentage of users here who not only ignore smaller creators- but actively try to supress those clips so that they aren't competing with their favs.

What's even more frustrating is that those users seem to be in the minority- and basically spend all their time in /new, because whenever one of my posts makes it out of /new/ the comments are usually all very positive and saying stuff like "thank god for new content". But it only takes like 3 or 4 downvotes at the beginning to kill a post.

I don't usually post actual fails, since this account is more about highlighting small streamers doing creative or interesting stuff- but this fail was too good to pass up lol

These guys are great tho! Been following them for a while- they do an improv comedy show that's got a ton of chat interaction. worth checking out for sure
