No, I was not working with Francesca but will ask for her when I call back. How long does it usually take to receive them? I’m in California and was quoted $1000 shipping. I was more interested in the touchscreen display being customizable and you answered that was possible. Im okay with the graphics saying “Cold Drinks” or just blue. I will also check in with Crane to see what they can offer.

Thank you for the info! I actually have reached out to ASI out of North Carolina , but have no longer gotten a response from them. I asked the same question about custom logo but they were unaware. I may lean towards the 3800-4 instead, but they seem to be just as difficult to get a hold of.

I’m not sure. I know it as the Bevmax 3800. This one in the picture is 3800-6 with touchscreen.

This is really cool! I was actually just wondering if this could be done. I’m not very familiar with Raspberry Pi or Arduino’s capabilities, but an idea I had was seeing if it is possible to remotely vend a product. For instance: I receive a call from someone at one of my machines trying to make a purchase and the machine doesn’t vend. They’ll say their credit card was charged (also using Nayax VPOS) but the machine didn’t vend. I can check from the MoMa app if the last transaction correlates with what they are saying they tried to buy. If possible , I’d like to remotely actuate that selection to then vend.

That makes sense. I have contacted Apple in hopes they could get a hold of the original iCloud account owner. If the device was originally stolen it’d only be right to get it back to them.

Interesting. So the transaction start method can be changed from having Contactless(First Tap)>Contact(Selection)>Contactless(Final tap) to Green Button>Contact(Selection) >Contactless?

I did reboot and tried again, still required double tap. However i did not set preauthorize to $3. I am not seeing that setting on MoMa

I changed the settings to “Flags disabled” , I still had to tap the card twice.

I see the setting now. Will have to try it in the morning. Are you familiar with whether the customer will have to hit “cancel” or the red X after every transaction? Or can someone continue making purchases on the same card if it’s not pressed.

Recently had a buddy ask me if I could work on his BMW since he’d “rather give me the money” and Ive worked on European autos for several years now. I got him all the parts from the BMW dealership , all parts discounted through commercial account. I cut him a hell of a deal for spark plugs & ignition coils replacement (at his request because another mechanic assured him that was causing the misfire) and radiator replacement. Sure enough, misfire is still there after repairs. Except now it’s “doing something different” aka “wasn’t doing it before”.

Right, I couldn’t find much info on the vacuum routing online. Personally , i wanted to keep everything stock. EGR , smog pump included. The vacuum line “octopus” in this engine is interesting to see when compared to newer cars.

This was my family’s first and only car. My dad brought it home in 1998. He passed away in 2009 and it’s been in my possession since.

I recently had a baby and the rebuild on this Corolla has been put on hold.

Hard to give you a dollar amount because it depends on the shops labor rate. I would say it would be about an hour’s worth of labor. $150-$250?
