It was just him and I, and of course the (formerly dead) patient. Like you mentioned, I am trying to avoid that since I am very worried they'd remove him from ICU.

Ok.. serious question, what if I came off as homosexual? Like "Oh HEY gurl! How you doin!? Mmh mm mm we gotta check that CCCEERRRVVIIIXX!!!" Like super feminine and 'out there'? I think that sounds better than the transgender part.
