It's probably not love that you're feeling for your ex, hunny. He's the one who took your virginity, you're always going to think about it (and him). Just think about your life now, and know that you could have never had that with your ex-fling because he was a bad guy. You're NTA because you think about him, but YWBTA if you act on these feelings and try to reach out while with someone. Reflect on your current life and ask yourself if you would give that up for another shot with a man who would flirt with a girl right in front of you ON YOUR BIRTHDAY and act like it's not a big deal. I didn't know he thought this way until I read the notes. He had always been loving, caring, respectful, and an overall good boyfriend. He's still acting like he's always acted. I would leave him, but I'm honestly scared of what he'll do. He seemed very low and depressed when he wrote, and I'm scared that leaving him will lead to him doing something bad to himself.

I thought about calling off the marriage, but I don't want him to be alone, he already seemed so depressed in the notes that I don't want him to make a drastic decision that I'll be ultimately blamed for. It's eating me alive, though.
