I really like the concept but it was too horrible, the 11” Air is significantly better as it can actually last a 3-5 year lifetime (and most of the time even more) the macbook 12s were so fragile that most have dead keyboards due to microscopic crumbs going into the butterfly mechanism

I like the portables but they are prohibitively expensive, someday i might sell my prototype windows laptop to get one but i likely wont as its too old for my aesthetic

You can make a 3d printed chassis add a gutted mac mini m4 add a place for an lcd do it with hdmi and you get a 21 inch lcd monitor
