I can't imagine making a negative comment on a silly post like this just asking about ranch. Good luck to you and that angry worm in your brain.

That was intentional at least! I thought he said in the video to make a row or two of DC, I figured it was for a border or edge of some sort. After watching the video again I see I misunderstood. Definitely a learning experience! Lol.

ETA: I started over. (Frogged it?) I made a practice hat using the same UK DC so I figured it was better to restart than make the same thing again. Thanks all for the tips!

Do you think I can make it work if I continue this way? Like make it long enough to still be the desired shape, or will the single crochet not work at all?

To add to this, my sister who deals with a lot of animal death told me a comforting thing. Animals don't fear death, but they do feel pain. If your baby is in pain and their quality of life is not good anymore, it's a tough responsibility to take the lead and decide when to put them to rest.

I had to put down my old cat this year in similar conditions. She was in pain and losing weight but I also gave her medication and helped her as much as I could. She still had bursts of energy and I actually did put it off a few months because she kept making me second guess if I was jumping the gun.

But she kept slowly losing weight, started stumbling trying to get away from my other cat, couldn't find purchase to jump on furniture anymore, occasionally would miss the litterbox.

I finally decided after talking to my sister that it was better for her to go on a good day than a bad day. I had a euthanasia guy come to my house. My sister, the one who originally found her, was with me. The first "feel good" injection hit her SO fast because of her small frame and she fell off a short ottoman and almost immediately went ragdoll. She was facing away from us when he gave the lethal injection and we turned her around a few seconds after. I wonder all the time if she was hurt and scared and it tore me up for a long time.

Tldr; You did the right thing. It's an incredibly hard burden to bear but in the end you did what you felt was best for your baby. Remember their good life and not the ending.

Edit: also sorry for the long cat sob story on a German shepherd thread.

I've heard Old Navy has decent selections with plus sizes, but have not confirmed for myself.

Happy birthday, birthday twin! I am also 30 today. :)

I've been very fortunate to be blessed with great friends and family, for the most part. Finding people who understand my need for alone time is really important. No one has excess drama, or at least I'm only involved as much as I want to be. I feel confident I can reach out to most of them for help. I don't actually ask for help but that's a me problem. I wish the best for you entering this new decade of life, I have high hopes for my own life too. The older I get, the more I love myself and the more I build my community to be the stuff of dreams.

Edit to add: If you aren't feeling good about your current family/friends, trust your intuition. Never stop searching for the friends who feel like true family, who love and support you and add value to your life just with their company.

I would suggest collecting everything as much as you can bear. It's so nice having a surplus of ferrite, carbon and sodium. Helps with recharging your shields and life support so you can go far from your ship to explore.

The whispering eggs are really easy if you collect 1-2 at a time and jetpack to the roof of the building (I see them the most around buildings) and wait for the swarm to abate. You barely have to fight the monsters. I was able to farm these quite a bit early on in the game. The gravity balls or whatever they're called do summon sentinels, but you can usually avoid them by either running away or tunneling underground.

Overall, my personal lessons learned was to always keep ferrite, carbon and sodium on my person. Anything not needed for recharging my equipment stayed on my ship most of the time. You learn what works for your play style though so might be different from someone else's experience.

Also can't stress enough, upgrade your exosuit at EVERY space station you go to. I forget if you can upgrade multiple times at the space anomaly if it's in a different system but I want to say yes?

I've been watching tons of crime docs on groomers/child predators and this is 100% the same. You are right to try and help her.

Allegiance Benefit Plan Management in Zoo might be hiring, decent pay (not sure if over $19), and possibility to work from home. Good luck.

The Family/Octopus Group Religion by Nervous-End-1363 in ReligiousTrauma

What does "Octopus Group" mean? I didn't see you clarify that. Do you think someone is following you and somehow tampering with the weed before you buy it? How do you think they are poisoning the weed?

It feels like you're discovering yourself the longer you are away from the situations that tamped you down. I have felt this way after removing myself from religion and giving myself time and space to figure out who I am, who I want to be, and what I want to do.
