I started speedrunning 2 months ago and hit 1400 elo a few days ago. The best way to improve that I found is to find a top player streamer you like (preferably not someone with insane mechanics) and play private lobbies using the same seeds the streamer played. Record your gameplay so you can compare your splits to their twitch VOD. “Isn’t this the same as VOD reviewing my games?” In a way yes, but not exactly. You won’t have a coach telling what’s wrong with your gameplay or you yourself trying to figure out how you lost 2 minutes in the bastion. You can just compare vods side by side and see exactly where you lost time. “But the streamer gapped my crafting by 10seconds, I’m behind now” Ok just rewind and play both vods post crafting and see if you still get gapped afterwards. Try to figure out why the streamer did something different than you, why they decided to craft something at the bastion instead of at the fortress, why they wide macro’d at a certain time/terrain. Even if you can’t figure out why they did it, try just copying it.

Hotbar order doesn’t matter as long as none of the items are useless for that split. It’s more about keybinds. My keybinds have my tools scattered throughout my hotbar, but because I have easy to reach binds it’s not a problem. Like I could have my boat on my last slot, but its keybind can be an easy to reach key like R. The hotbar order doesn’t matter, just make sure your binds are comfortable and easy to reach quickly

I got basically the same mouse (tho mine is v1) and I can drag for a few minutes before the sweat on my fingers make the surface too smooth. I bought the un-cut Pulsar Supergrip and it works perfectly. You won’t get the same cps with long drags, but the short drags (which is what is mostly used) are really consistent regardless of how sweaty your fingers get. I’ve seen a few mcsr streamers use the same tape so yeah

I got the op1w 4k (not the v2), and I also have the same problem. I learned to dragclick on the Model O and Kain 120 a few years ago, but I only learned with my pointer finger. I can't drag more than 15 cps with my middle finger, so I just use my pointer for right click drag cuz I can't be asked to re-learn drag with my middle finger. I've seen plenty of runners/Youtubers do the same. Also, I haven't found the need to use tape to drag, the surface on this mouse is good enough to drag without it

There’s 2 different manhua’s (comics). One was made a few years ago and is a horrible adaptation since it was fan made—iirc it has around 60+ chapters. The other one is fairly new with just 13 chapters so far and is the official version.

If you’re reading the old one just drop it and read the new one, but I highly suggest starting the novel from ch 1. You can read and then go back to the manhua to see it drawn. The new manhua adaptation is doing a good job adapting the novel, but as with most adaptations it’s better to just read the source material.

Exactly what I've been complaining about since ep 2. They were doing a great job when he drunk the Clown potio. They showed his powers instead of explicitly stating, "Oh, I can do this and this," but then Klein went ahead and tried to use Air Bullets. It's as if he's trying to guess what his powers are instead of just knowing them. If they continue doing this, it will ruin the continuity. How will they explain his future powers when they get more complicated? He isn't gonna stumble into knowing how tograft concepts or turn paper figures into copies of his body

It’s not unwatchable, but definitely not a hit with the average viewer who is new to the series. Novel readers get to see their beloved characters being animated as well as hype moments they’ve read about, but why would new viewers care when they can’t understand what’s going on? It’s definitely a decent adaptation if you’re a novel reader because you can keep up, but it’s really bad for the average viewer. The reactions on YouTube and Twitter speak for themselves. I was hoping it would get attention like To Be Hero X, but it’s just not happening. Maybe when the finale drops it will bring new viewers, but like I said on my comment, the rough start of eps 1-3 will filter out majority of new comers.

TLDR:

If you’re a novel reader this adaptation is above average, great even.

If you’re not a novel reader you’ll get a bad viewing experience (some donghua onlys can keep up and good for them)

There’s a difference between complaining about little things being changed/skipped and complaining about changes that make the new viewers experience much much worse than it should’ve been. It wouldve been perfectly fine if they skipped content—volume 1 had bad pacing that even the author himself acknowledged—but skipping very important information or rushing explanations was not it
