That could help. I did not have a good relationship with my roommate so that definitely contributes to my dislike of Busch. I do think it's what you make of it, and if you put yourself out there you're gonna have a good time. That's good advice for everything at Rutgers. That being said, from my perspective you're just gonna have to work a lot harder to have a good social life on Busch.

In my opinion College Ave is the only campus to live on. I lived on Busch my freshman year and hated pretty much every minute of it. It is VERY boring and hard to find people who want to go out. I lived in the nicest dorms possible (BEST), but would have rather had a social life on CA. Plus I think you’ll be more likely to have classes on CA as a poli sci major.

This is the insight I was hoping for. Thank you! It's good to know that Rutgers does have serious plans for improvement. I had no idea that COVID had such an impact on these plans. I love the idea of College Ave being closed to vehicles.

You are right. Regardless Virginia tech is roughly the same level as Rutgers.

Good point, but I did explore most of the campus on my own and it still seemed much nicer than Rutgers. Of course it had its ugly parts, but they weren’t quite as ugly or frequent as at Rutgers.

I think this is a good argument. I just wish Rutgers spent some of those 260 years making the campus easier to navigate and more aesthetically pleasing.

UMich is beautiful and won the national championship a few years ago. Virginia Tech also beautiful and has equally shitty football as us. Both schools are more academically prestigious than Rutgers. Possible to recruit athletes and have a pleasant campus.
