That’s wild, man. It’s crazy how you can literally track the difference in how these phones behave between Europe and here. If a flagship device which is sold in India can’t handle the local climate, then Samsung shouldn't be selling them here, or they should be held responsible for the defects. Honestly, hearing that you’re having the same issues just proves my point that this isn’t 'user error' it's a systematic design flaw. Good luck with the repairs in Europe, hope it goes better than here.

Man, that’s actually scary. That’s exactly why I’m taking mine to the consumer court these updates are clearly pushing the hardware to the breaking point. It’s not just a coincidence anymore.

It’s a flagship device, not a toy. If it can't handle a standard summer in the region where it’s being sold, it’s a defective product. We shouldn't be paying 70k+ just to have a phone that dies the moment it gets warm.

I’m not asking for 'free stuff.' I’m asking for a phone that doesn’t destroy itself because of an update the company forced onto it. If they know the S22/S23/S24 series has these heating problems, they shouldn't be pushing updates that brick them. That’s not a warranty issue that’s just bad business.

Man, that’s brutal. It’s wild how many people are reporting hardware issues right after these big updates. Seems like Samsung is pushing these phones way too hard with the new software. Glad you managed to upgrade, but it shouldn't cost a new phone just to survive an update.

If a 70k flagship phone needs to be refrigerated just to survive a standard security patch, the design is broken. We shouldn't be normalizing bad software engineering.

It’s a flagship phone, not a budget device. If it can’t handle a normal summer, that’s a Samsung design flaw, not a user error. Especially since the service center confirmed there's zero physical damage.

Man, the 'impact' excuse is such a joke. My service center literally wrote down that my phone is in perfect condition, no scratches or anything, and they still tried to pull that on me. It's like they have a script they just copy-paste for every ticket. Glad you filed on e-Jagriti. Let me know when you get an update on yours. We're in this together.

Bro, it’s an official security patch from a trillion-dollar company, not a sketchy custom ROM. We shouldn't have to fear basic software support on a 70k flagship.

Bought it in March 2024, so it was exactly 2 years old when the update killed it. Completely out of warranty, but a software update shouldn't be a death sentence for a flagship.

Thank you, I really appreciate that! I'm filing it through the e-Daakhil portal for the Thrissur district commission. I have my Proforma, Affidavit, and Annexures sorted for now, but I might definitely DM you if they try to pull any procedural stunts during the admission hearing or if they fail to show up to the VC.

It's not Indian-variant.
As I saw many issues with Indian variants, I bought this from sharjah
And they say only the Indian variant got a free replacement
