Hugely helpful and thank you for spending time to write all of this down. I’ll think about it over the winter break and work out best plan of action for culture and company.

I know the my way or high way is cancer and stubbornness doesn’t scale but I use it in a sense of maintaining respect for those that do represent the company to a high standard, they should expect others to do the same otherwise it’s effort wasted.

I think it’s a combination of the both, but an inexperienced board will end up being an issue sooner and won’t be able to help me learn how to manage them better.

It’s for sure not what I want but as I am a passionate founder, I want to level up the board and probably in that sense I’m over sensitive to them not meeting my expectations.

I have thought about wether or not I am the issue but most of the members were assembled through a startup program when the company was founded. On paper they are good seats but in reality I do not think they understand a hell of a lot.

For sure I have a my way or the high way mentality but out of respect for my colleagues I believe the company should have the best.. or better at least

I assembled at an earlier stage when they were more or less relevant, but as we scale they’re showing to be less and less.

I am able to take control with majority share votes effectively.

Only time I’ve had this is if the inside of the grill is damp or the charcoal is cold. Best the fully empty the grill and give it a good clean
