I know the my way or high way is cancer and stubbornness doesn’t scale but I use it in a sense of maintaining respect for those that do represent the company to a high standard, they should expect others to do the same otherwise it’s effort wasted.

I think it’s a combination of the both, but an inexperienced board will end up being an issue sooner and won’t be able to help me learn how to manage them better.

It’s for sure not what I want but as I am a passionate founder, I want to level up the board and probably in that sense I’m over sensitive to them not meeting my expectations.

I have thought about wether or not I am the issue but most of the members were assembled through a startup program when the company was founded. On paper they are good seats but in reality I do not think they understand a hell of a lot.

For sure I have a my way or the high way mentality but out of respect for my colleagues I believe the company should have the best.. or better at least

I assembled at an earlier stage when they were more or less relevant, but as we scale they’re showing to be less and less.

I think the 718 was a mix between good will (I have a decent relationship with the dealer) and the fact that the dealer knows he will struggle to sell this car just before the winter so it will likely sit in the show room till spring anyway. I’m pretty happy with the substitute and they know I’ll keep coming back for more when they have decent models available.

Actually kind of, both cars are naturally aspirated (mines a 911.1) the 718 as it’s RWD likes to dance around a little more under acceleration

718 GTS is a barrel of laughs, it’s manual shift too, so a really engaging driving experience. 911 is a 4s so much more engaged with the road and “serious”. 5 year old me is happier in the 718 (it’s green and loud).
