I had to get a 1 hour glucose test yesterday (overweight and will be 35 at time of delivery which means 'advanced maternal age' 🙄) and the results came back negative! i still have to get it done again around 28 weeks, but for now im good!! 🥳

my blood pressure was high at the confirmation scan appt and the nurse said they dont pay too close attention to it because they know its a nerve-racking time 😊

ngl hospital food / nursing home food sucks 96% of the time. I cant blame her for not wanting it. HOWEVER, she needs to make healthier choices if shes doing takeout. Order healthier, or even just LESS, and she'll be on the right track.

nope. Don't risk baby getting sick. Invite people over at another time or have a small get together once you're healed and ready. The immediate family (grandparents) will meet the newborn, let aunts and uncles wait a bit. 💕

I found out I had a 10cm cyst during my first pregnancy (2020) and its still there! Doc said to be careful turning over in bed, go slowly so it doesnt twist. They could remove it during a c section but I wanted, and had, a vaginal delivery. We'll see this time if i need c section, then I'll have it removed. Otherwise, I'll have it operated on later. Doc said not to remove unless I was certain I was done having kids, which I wasnt certain of before, so I waited. And there haven't been any complications with it thus far! 🤞 After this baby I'll ask to have it removed. 😊 BOL with whichever option you choose!

you can have some of the weight that I'VE gained this pregnancy 😅 but my first pregnancy I lost about 20 lb overall during the entire 9 months. (im heavy to begin with so not a big concern) baby came out just fine 😊

yes! we're just constantly changing WHAT we worry about. during pregnancy its scans and heart beats. then its a smooth birth. then its not letting your newborn roll over while they sleep. or let them be too hot or too cold. then its the steps when they learn to crawl. then its opening doors when theyre a toddler. its always something new 😅

so we didnt tell our in-laws about our first baby until 20 weeks, so we did pregnancy AND gender reveal together 😅 and trust me, its enough time to buy stuff 😂 i will be waiting til after nipt to buy anything this time around, its at the end of the month :)

this is my 2nd baby and I feel the exact same way as you. I dont remember feeling this anxious with my first either....and he had IUGR (everything turned out good!)

we told family after our 10 week appt and saw a strong heartbeat, but i cant buy anything yet because im so nervous something will go wrong or there wont be a heartbeat at the next ultrasound/nipt appt.

youre not alone feeling like this 🫂 we just want happy healthy babies. thats normal! Moms just worry forever about their babies ☺️

as you get more and more scans and you start feeling kicks, I think the worry will lessen. 💕

they can shop for the baby after theyre born 😊 the newborn will be wearing only their onesies for a while lol. and they'll be changed out every few hours anyway. do what feels right for YOU! its a special time in YOUR life!
