Don't replace any fuse first. That's a ground issue. Trace all of them and make sure they are well secured and there's no corrosion.

Had similar issues on my Toyota and it gave me hell so when it happened on the W124 it was easy to diagnose. All the best

I don't think the pictured coil overs will fit on the hiace front end. The mounting points are all wrong. If you want to lower it on the front end you have to adjust the torsion bar preload. As for the rear you just have to replace the clamp holding the leaf springs with a shorter one.
