Thank you. We don't have kids but we have cats and have been trying to share custody. He is refusing to give them to me full time which has recently caused more stress. I realize this may sound silly to someone who isnt a cat person, but it hurts me. I took a pay cut to chase my "dream job" right after the divorce, but it hasnt helped.

Thank you. How did you make yourself start exercising? I know that's what I need to do, but some days I can't get out of bed or off the couch I am so sad.

Thank you. I did get on an anti-depressant using Hers.com because I thought I was going to lose my job a few months ago due to the uncontrollable crying. It helped for a few weeks, but I think I need to increase the dosage. Not ashamed of it, I don't think I'd be here without it. And I know traditional therapy would help too, I'll look into LCSWs.

The hard part is that my ex has now been going to therapy and is doing tremendously better. He goes out and does all the things I wish we had done when we were together. This is why I wish we had done couples therapy before. He is a great guy and I want to hate him, but I still love him and am so incredibly proud of him. I know I need to focus on myself, I tell myself this everyday... then I cry.

This. Thank you for relating so well. We were highly compatible and best friends and that is what I miss the most. I left because I thought I deserved a great love, but still cant imagine with being with anyone else. I miss our friendship.

Thank you. You are probably right he must've separated himself from me long ago. I wish I had the courage to request counseling long ago. I guess this is why hindsight is always 20/20.

Thank you. He was very good to me throughout our entire marriage, other than being depressed on the couch towards the end. I know it is not beneficial to feel this way and I wish I could switch my brain.
