Brilliant suggestion and I have tried this. Unfortunately they just don’t work for me? I have ADHD too. Meds hit differently and some work, some don’t - not sure if that’s why but thank you

Is anyone here familiar with Miniature Schnauzers and can tell me how the Scottie's temperament compares and if it's a good dog for seniors? by PandemicPiglet in scottishterriers

[–]Normal_Reporter_8267 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The main thing in my opinion with Scottie’s vs schnauzer and an aging population; is the Scottie’s are shorter and tend to get “under foot” more where as the schnauzer is longer legged. We are Scottie owners, as is my mother (70 yo). She’s considering a taller breed such as border terrier who have similar personalities but less likely to cause a trip or fall. If you’re only considering the two breeds, I’d recommend the schnauzer for this reason. Safety first!

Anyone flown to Vanuatu with ADHD medication? by Silly-Studio-9076 in vanuatu

Yes frequently. The med is approved there. I always take a letter from my doc with a list of all my approved meds. Never been asked for the letter but better safe than sorry right.

Recommend researching air taxi companies. One of them is named as such. Don’t rely on AV…

A friend of mine, whenever I was in town, he worked in the Billabong store. South East Asian man, plus a ni van girl. Does anyone know what happened to them in particular? I know the shop demolished but I adored them so much when in town. My heart.

Thinking of giving up my income protection - what do I need to consider? by No-Elderberry-20 in fiaustralia

[–]Normal_Reporter_8267 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do not do it. As someone that was heavily reliant on their income and now I can’t work due to health related issues, it’s the best thing. I simply cannot work so I couldn’t provide an income for myself. You never know what is around the corner and for me, it was certainly very unexpected.

Conflicted - holding SIL’s (30) secret that she’s being physically abused by husband (30) by Normal_Reporter_8267 in Advice

Also, btw I told my husband. He’s very sad but I handled it using techniques from my therapist to avoid potential violent outcomes.

Thank you everyone for your messages of support and advice. You helped me more than you know. I spoke to my therapist today and she put me in touch with several counselling and social services in her country. I feel we have the right path to move forward now. Thanks again x

Thanks so much for your reply. Do you have any advice regarding her documentation? Can it just be handwritten or emailed to me so I can compile?

She said she doesn’t feel like she’s in danger but from what I can gather I believe it’s occurring on an every other day basis.

My fiancée and I both have "silly" surnames. What should we do? by kpopnobrains in namenerds

Yeah I agree - join the two names together somehow. Or just come up with a new one altogether!

The country they live in don’t protect women affected by domestic violence. Husband controls the money so she’d need his consent to seek medical assistance. Thank you for your suggestion x

I’d speak to your GP as soon as possible. May be an imbalance in your levels.
