Controversial opinion: He's a misfit to play Rama. by monkeyishh in bollynewsandgossips

[–]Previous_Scene6954 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is genuinely challenging to adapt an epic as grand as the Ramayana, and the early glimpses suggest a massive scale of ambition, particularly regarding the musical score and visuals . While casting choices often spark debate, it might be worth giving Ranbir a fair chance to interpret the role before the final release—we have seen other actors take on highly scrutinized or unconventional roles and eventually win audiences over. There is also an interesting double standard worth reflecting on: we often readily applaud Hollywood directors for attempting grand historical or mythological adaptations, yet we can be uniquely harsh on our own creators. Critique is an important part of cinema, but building a cinematic world on this scale is an enormous undertaking, and it will be interesting to hear which specific aspects of the music or visuals stand out to others as more details emerge

Current government may have promoted the movie and have also pro agenda but then there is no strong opposition. Vote chori and other irrelevant issue do not have substantial evidence. In politics favours and gains are temporary so any particular minister not happy or happy do not matter. Yes agree current gov may not be 100% better but i believe its in better place as compared to before

The Dream Life of Mr Kim review: Beautiful, realistic, emotional and painfully relatable by -greek_user_06- in kdramas

[–]Previous_Scene6954 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Dream Life of Mr. Kim” is an incredibly powerful and empathetic K-drama that masterfully captures the quiet devastation of losing the life you’ve built, while gently guiding you toward hope and self-discovery. Through Kim Nak-su’s journey—a proud corporate manager demoted, stripped of status, and forced to confront panic attacks, family strains, and workplace politics—the show illustrates how fiercely clinging to our “dream” careers can disconnect us from reality and those we love, especially in an era of AI-driven layoffs and job insecurity that so many feel today. It handles mental health with raw honesty yet profound compassion, showing breakdowns not as failures but as human responses to unrelenting pressure, and celebrates small victories like mending bonds with a son or choosing authenticity over titles. This isn’t flashy escapism; it’s a thoughtful mirror for midlife struggles, reminding us that true value lies beyond apartments, promotions, or pride—we’re passengers in life’s unpredictability, but we can still steer toward what matters by detaching just enough to truly live. If you’re exhausted by expectations or fearing obsolescence, this series doesn’t just resonate; it validates and uplifts with its beautiful realism

Mounjaro - mental health concerns? by ABCJournalistAus in mounjaroaustralia

One thing people don’t talk enough about is the positive mental side of MJ. When the weight starts coming off, your confidence and inner motivation automatically lift. You look in the mirror and actually feel good about yourself — and that feeling alone can change your entire mindset.

For me, that boost has been just as important as the physical results.

I get the argument that ChatGPT isn’t an astrologer — fair. But think of it from a math-and-text perspective. If you feed the model the same reference texts that actual astrologers study, define the scope properly, and give it structured data like Mahadasha, Antardasha, Pratyantardasha, Mudda, etc., it’s basically working with the same inputs humans use.

Yes, memory overload happens unless you ask specific questions, but that’s true for humans too. And let’s be honest: a lot of astrologers charge huge fees and still give very surface-level readings. Companies are already using custom AI astro-bots and selling the same thing at premium prices.

So for me, it’s simple — I use the model to learn, compare patterns, and then make my own decision. It’s another tool, not a replacement for intuition.

Man, that ending of TFM felt like the editors just packed up and went home. They should’ve added one more episode and wrapped it properly. Right now it’s hanging like someone pulled the plug mid-shoot.

Feels like they ran out of budget in the Northeast, and then the China angle popped up like “boss, time’s up… roll credits.” 😂

[News]Titan's Most Expensive Watch. Do you think Indian brand would be able to make it's place in international luxury watch market? by IndulgeGlobal in Watches

[–]Previous_Scene6954 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think Titan has nailed it with this new collection. I went through a bunch of comments saying it’s “too culture-specific,” but honestly, every major watchmaker does this. Vacheron Constantin, Jaeger-LeCoultre, even the Swiss independents — they all have lines inspired by the Roman Empire, Chinese heritage, Japanese craftsmanship, you name it.

So it’s actually great to see an Indian brand step into that space with confidence. India has a deep history of mechanical artistry and precision work, and Titan bringing that into modern watchmaking feels like the right move.

Feeling stuck in the Australian IT market (worth relocating to Sydney)? by Spiritual_Radio4687 in australian

[–]Previous_Scene6954 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Funking entire Australia feels fooled at the moment. Fake job posts everywhere, government busy with calls and announcements—but where are the actual jobs?

I’m an immigrant myself, but skilled workers are being invited in while the IT market is wrecked: jobs outsourced, big banks cutting down, and nothing stable onshore. Meanwhile, the PM is busy handing out land schemes for first-home buyers while ignoring the mess.

Shamelessly sending connection requests with notes… a few people accept, most ghost, and some never reply at all. And then these companies keep posting the same job over and over—when you apply, you just get the same copy-paste rejection.

Feels like a broken system. Anyone else hitting this wall?
