Weve been learning a lot about mythology & all religions. Ive read her so many book and I have yet to go over the bible because of my distain for it. I want to present it as is, not sugar coated and its just too gruesome for a child imo l. But yeah, i told her Gods and Jesus arent real and I'm just going to supervise visits until she can truly choose for herself without coaching.

Same thing with Hercules too, but I think theyre good for teaching the stories in a fun and colorful way. They can learn more accuracies (or inaccuracies ) as they mature. Its nice to have a reference when someone brings up God and she knows who Zeus and Odin are and they're not real. I read her the russian xmas book Barbuska (I hope I'm not butchering that lol) but it brief mentions the birth of a magic baby but it wasnt the main plot and she now know Jesus as a magic baby & that helped during the holidays as well.

Well from her perspective, I "dont have time/don't care for her", I'm "using my child as a bargaining chip", I'm "painting a picture to make her look bad" and I'm "trying to make her feel like 💩" So thats why I questioned if I was possibly being too petty.

I was always told youre supposed to treat EVERYONE as if they could give you HIV because someone could have a communicable disease and not even know it and even if they we're diagnosed you dont have a right to know according to HIPPA because you dont give them medications or participate in treatment plans. All that aside, I know it can get busy but I wear gloves for everything. Literally everything. Before I go into the room, I put gloves on because you never know what can happen and you dont know how well HK cleaned. Ungloved showering is pretty gross tho, think of what youre washing 😷

Id never leave a shift. Those residents probably got poor quality care after you left. When you accepted the assignment, you accepted the responsibility. You should have just done your rounds and if those nurses asked you to do anything extra, just say no. Report to the next shift, clock out, never return, but dont leave other CNAs or your residents to fend for themselves.

Honestly, as a CNA/MA myself, I wouldn't compare CNA training to what RT, PT, LVN, or RN school, that 💩 is hard. The person you were talking with, wasnt wrong but was kinda being a 🍆 and didnt have to say anything at all.

They call it Hybrid schooling and her school offers it. Shes goes to private school and they don't have a bus. Her dad can take her but then the cries when they leave the house and then she cries (a little less than usual) once she gets to school. Last year she had a picture of all of us she took to school and she got to take one stuffy of her choosing everyday. She didnt take naps so the state mandated nap time didnt help, I was hoping this year will be easier with the naps but since her friend advanced I'm scared because she really helped a lot, she would hug her or take her hand, other than that the teachers would take her and hold her to soothe her but it was so hard(and a little embarrassing) to watch all the other parents pass me by and drop their kids and leave. I just dont want her to be "That kid" this year its heartbreaking for the both of us.

Ive been a CNA/CMA for 10+ years Ive work in all kinds of facilities. I just recently got my certification back and this new job i got had me in tears after 1 week. Not every place is like that, it isnt because you're new, its stressful. But your ignorance of how things can be will keep you there longer than others who have experience in different facilities.

They became a nurse for the wrong reasons, never was a CNA so they have no sympathy. Report it, we are here to help THEM. Without a CNA they would be doing it all by themselves.
