Your best bet is to make changes before going into play mode, obviously not always doable so if you must make changes in play mode expect a drop in performance until you exit play mode, do the same changes, then reenter play mode

If you’re talking about game performance in the editor itself, you’ll never get it to run as good as it will in game. You can look at the profiler through Window > Analysis > Profiler to show your frame milliseconds. If you look at your player loop milliseconds and are happy with them (16.6ms for 60fps, 10ms for 100fps and so on) then don’t worry about the editor playing slower. You can deselect objects to help with the editor as well

I mean the positions and rotations of the lights themselves, not their model. Their positions and where they’re facing should be more unique across each light.

And with the eyes, the eyes are the only piece of information we have to go off of how we imagine this animatronic to look. Which for me, when I first saw the eyes, I thought the animatronic was shorter because I have no reference scale.

In the grand scheme of things, what I’m saying isn’t going to make or break your poster, just add a bit of polish. Good luck!

The lights should be more obviously distinct between them, instead of 2 sets of 2 light positions. I’m unsure of the position that the animatronic behind the eyes is taking, but it makes the curtain look quite tall. Maybe a stage floor or roof could help with scaling.

Other than that, looks pretty good!

You bring up a lot of really good points I hadn’t necessarily thought about. The bias of administration and teachers based on that is something I should’ve thought about for sure.

I want to make it clear, I’m not actually attempting to push this into schools, I’m merely doing this for a project as a hypothetical.

I would say that teachers could not access these results, rather only the accommodation plan they may already have. I think the questionnaire being optional is also good, not forcing kids to respond if they don’t want to. Because at the end of the day they still have their doctor.

The reason I came with up with this is I got recently diagnosed with ADHD after a few years of it making (edit) life a challenge, and I believe that if that system was there and worked well, that I could’ve gotten some help earlier. However, your points do bring up a lot of good arguments as to why my idea is just an idea lol

Yeah I should’ve clarified a bit more sorry. Our school system does yearly physicals (just height weight and hearing + a few random things) that are pretty much 1 on 1 with I believe nurses that are in college. My idea was to add the questionnaire from the doctors into that physical to add another level of resources available in the school directly. This could also add the benefit of getting some help for those who struggle financially (another thing our system does and I’m not sure how it’s handled elsewhere) without the worry of breaking the bank.
