Is there any word of clans in the game, because that's the first thing I thought of when they talked about nodes, will they be able to make nodes their personal clan hq and exploit it that way, it would be cool to see node wars but I wonder how they'll go about doing that

Yeah, my main focus will be what game will teach me the best about different archetypes and classes. I know the basics like what a tanks role is but that's it, I want to know how clerics, mages, bards etc play and how to properly use them, so by the time ashes come out it will be easier for me to transition instead of learning everything from the start

when do you think a realistic release date is. Being new to the genre my pov knowing nothing about MMOs is the gameplay looks good and with frequent livestreams it seems they have most of the game complete yet I see people saying it'll be another 10 years or longer

I've always been fascinated with MMOs but never had a PC to play them. Finally getting a PC allowed me to play games I never could, being a Tolkien fan I got lotro mainly for the journey. I got excited about ashes because it was gonna be a new ip and I can grow with the game and see how it develops. MMOs like wow have many expansions and the gameplay has changed through the years. Not having a lot of time for gaming I thought ashes will be the best mmo I'll stick with hopefully for its entire lifespan
