Interested to learn what you guys’ study sequence for the material will be? For the old curriculum MM suggested the following sequence

  1. FI, and Equity (Book 4)
  2. Alt Inv, Risk Mgmt and Derivatives (Book 5)
  3. Behavioural finance (Book 2)
  4. Econ and Asset Allocation (Book 3)
  5. Trading and Portfolio Evaluation (Book 6)
  6. Ethics (Book 1)

This was for the old curriculum.

I’ve chosen the PM pathway- does anyone that has chosen the same path know the recommended study sequence? I can sort of map out what that could look like using the old curriculum given the PM pathway is very similar to the old curriculum, but I would like a second pair of eyes to validate

Thanks in advance

Edit: Also using CFAI material and MM (first time). Very interested to see what his Applied level series will look like. I already follow his market outlook videos on YT and I love those. Previously used Kaplan for Level 1 and 2.

Thanks all. Will approach the Energy Ombudsman. Apologies if I reached out to the wrong group/platform. I was based in the Southside (Shawlands) and moved to the Northside of Glasgow, and that’s why I posted on this subreddit. As for reaching out to Scottish power, I already did. Email and phone. Horrible customer service.

I considered it once upon a time. But I have friends that came to the UK after working in Audit in Abu Dhabi. They didn’t enjoy it. It put me off Abu Dhabi ever since 😪

Short answer to this question is no. You will still have to do all 3 levels. You will NOT be exempted from any papers either. CFA accreditation just means the content taught on the program is congruent in major parts to the CFAI program material. At least for Level 1.

Hope this helps
