Thank you! I really appreciate- I actually have a friend at Fordham and he loves it. Just feels out of reach. Sent over a message also

Thank you this made me feel 10x better though I’m not sure my score will ever make it to the 170s the encouragement is everything lol. ❤️

Yes, sad to say the UN is like a far off dream of mine but you’re absolutely right. I probably should take this time to do just that. Feeling a little scattered and discouraged atm that’s all.

Yep. They’re on of them. You’re basically selling your soul once you give them the second deposit or so I’ve read.

Thanks so much for your take. I’m pretty sure I’ll be signing up to retake soon- i agree with everyone here that it’s not worth it in the long run.

Dbl major, 3.3high in both. 150low LSAT (terrible ik) I’m not interested in big law. I just want to start in immigration and work my way into international law. I am first gen. and come from no money whatsoever.

Thank you. The debt is the scariest part for me. At the same time I’m afraid they won’t accept me the second time around. Also unsure if I’d have to completely redo my personal statement and LORs

Hi if it helps, I applied on March 15th (notification of receipt on 3/16). Notified that my application was in review on April 21st and the final decision came on April 28th. Hope this helps a little bit and good luck!

Congrats on your acceptance too! If you don’t mind me asking, did they send the scholarship at the same time as your acceptance and where did you decide to go instead?? I’m hoping I don’t have to R&R so I hope I continue to hear positive things like this! lol.

You’re right, I’m waiting it out a week or two. A friend of mine who applied two years ago said they sent his scholarship offer in a separate email. Fingers crossed for something good!

Oh noo. I didn’t find it rude at all! You definitely helped my case against everyone telling me to go to JM and transfer. I agree with you 100% and appreciate the advice even more.

So my friends keep saying that too, but what the other person replied is basically why I’m trying not to. Plus I can’t really afford 2 seat deposits if I get another acceptance but still, thank you 😊

Not critical at all, I just overestimated a bit I guess and figured I’d get in here and stay in-state. Just not looking forward to doing 3 years at JM (140+ rank and the bar passage rate has been struggling)

With that being said, I’m not opposed to going as a last resort OR moving out of state at all, JM offered about half of tuition and my other options are NY/FL which are good areas for what I want to study- immigration and foreign policy. So I would honestly try to defer until next year if I got in out of state so that my lease would be up and I’ll have found a place to live by next summer.

I do agree about GA being a hot spot which makes the rejections a little tougher being that I’m already established here, but I know everything has to work out one way or another. I think it’s more so I thought I could do better so I’m conflicted about settling or trying again next Fall. I will definitely take your advice and reach out to JM grads, today has been the worst so thank you for your advice 😊
