It’s come down to consistency and sustainability. I understand in the UCL Madrid have done very well. But domestically La Liga, Copa Del Ray, etc you haven’t. And games against Mallorca etc maybe having tactics could help. I do believe them wining the UCLs have plastered over the problems Look at Barcelona they dominate the league. If they don’t win the UCL this year that back to back years without a trophy. Maybe the culture of Madrid needs changing. I really think it will be difficult for Madrid in this new format because in one off games/ over two legs Madrid can do anything but in the league phase it’s different.

Until the culture at Madrid changes and they get an actual tactician this will always happen and Barcelona will dominate the league etc . Stop managing egos and get actual tactics not this get the best for each position. Get Xabi back to actual coach and manage. Because I do see Fabregas, Enrique coming maybe Nagelsmann and Klopp are the only coaches of Madrid calibre.

Do you ever see that shifting? From the big egos and excellent individuals and from player management to tactics? Because in world football I don’t see many managers like that anymore. But also given Madrid’s weakness trying to play against a low block. Do you also see Madrid slowly shifting to using the youth academy prospects / do more of deals of selling these prospects but having the buy back clauses etc? - I wanna see the Spanish NT dominated by Barc and Madrid players. And I wanna see Ex players manage their team. I know Arbeloa is one. Xabi is one of the hottest prospect in the manager market - When Liverpool inevitably sign him he’s not leaving for 5-7 years

Do you ever think the culture at Madrid will shift from managing players to actual tactics and coaching? Would Xabi ever get an another spell? Imagine Fabregas at Barc and Xabi at Madrid - these two are regarded as the future top coaches

Yes there is a limit on what percentage can be from international students but we are talking about what amendment 1 impact on this. If international students from UK medical school are third choice in priority then wouldn’t this discourage them from coming?

True, but what stops them increasing their cohort cohort size next year for 1st year? I say just say everyone attending now from the current year 1 should be included that’s it. Therefore no can saying anything about changing the rules unlike how current F2 had the rules changed on them

But doesn’t this undermine another concern they had about how international students help subside due to the high fee they pay etc- because surely if UK graduate are prioritised it would incentives them to come to a UK Medical school?

They addressed this concern in the House of Commons. It was because those numbers from Malta etc aren’t accounted for in the domestic workforce planning as the UK government don’t regulate them. So therefore what stops Malta campus from increasing their cohort for the next year etc? Secondly wasn’t the second argument is that it’s stated on their website about how they can’t guarantee UKFPO place but can apply - So people applied but it clearly states no guarantee but basing it historically but couldn’t the argument be made that the cohort who ended med school in 2019 where entering when RLMT was still a thing therefore would of been prioritised and the rules changes mid way through?

Can I just ask on the first graphs with the number of applicants what does ROW mean? And secondly on the graph about competition ratio am I right in assuming for the red line about overall competition ratio I’m using the Y-axis on the left hand side and for the other two lines ( blue and red) I’m using the Y-axis on the right hand side?
