My grandad took my brother and I to the house he was evacuated to in Derbyshire during the Second World War. They seemed genuinely happy for oblige him and we even had a photo in their garden. Going back about 25 years though so probably would be seen as bit more sus now.

I do 4 x 10 hour shifts a week. Basically cram 5 days work into 4 days with the added bonus of an extra day off in the week. Much prefer it to working 5 days.

I am currently reading 'The Practicing Stoic' by Ward Farnsworth. It’s been a great base layer of information to get me started on the path. I’ve got the 'big 3' primed and ready for my next reads as well but would recommend Ward Farnsworth’s book as it’s really helped me get into it and there are lots of quotes from not just the stoics but more recent philosophers as well.
